Monthly Wrap Up | January 2021

Is it just me, or did January feel like the longest month ever? And that’s saying something given how slowly time moves in quarantine. Fortunately, I had some fantastic books to help me pass the time! It was a weird month book-wise, seeing that I started it by finishing the A Court of Thorns and Roses series and then quickly transitioned to reading historical and contemporary romances. The ACOTAR book hangover was just so real I needed to wash it away with something that didn’t involve sexy fae.

This is my first monthly wrap up so things may change, but for now, I’m going to provide my overall star rating, my spice rating, my favorite quote and my Book of the Month! Sarah J. Maas fans, please don’t cancel me for my ratings for A Court of Wings and Ruin and A Court of Frost and Starlight – I’m probably just projecting my despair about it being over (for now)… So, without further ado, here’s my wrap up for January 2021:
