Given how amazing January was book-wise, I thought February had a lot of potential to be similar. Unfortunately, February proved to be a slow-going month. I wasn’t super excited to read some of the books I chose and read them at a leisurely pace. Then, things got weird with my book choices halfway through the month. Someone in my book chat recommended Feral Sins by Suzanne Wright for some excellent spice. And it was SPICY and kind of just weird if I’m honest, so proceed with caution with that one – although the MC was freaking hilarious with her one-liners and comebacks, so I’d recommend it for those alone.
The saving grace for this month was the release of A Court of Silver Flames! It is my first five-star read of the year, AND it got a five in the spice category too. Honestly, it is one of my favorite books of all time! My review for ACOSF will be out soon. I’m currently halfway through re-reading A Court of Mist and Fury because I clearly have no respect for my TBR, and I just needed more Feyre, Rhys, and the inner circle in my life right now. Have you read any of these books? What did you think?

Title: A Court of Silver Flames | Author: Sarah J. Maas | Genre: Adult Fantasy
“That’s the key isn’t it? To know the darkness will always remain, but how you choose to face it, handle it…that’s the important part. To not let it consume. To focus upon the good, the things that fill you with wonder.” She gestured to the stars zooming past. “The struggle with that darkness is worth it, just to see such things.”
– Sarah J. Maas, A Court of Silver Flames
