Monthly Wrap Up | March 2021

March is a bit of a blur to me, to be quite honest. My birthday was at the beginning of the month, and somehow it feels like that was years ago and also yesterday? It’s possible a year in quarantine is getting to me…

Anyway, I started this month by finishing my re-read of A Court of Mist of Fury, which honestly was the best book I read this month, and that’s unfortunate, seeing that I already read it and loved it. Oh well! I finally finished the Shadow and Bone trilogy, and it was good. Still, YA isn’t typically my thing, so I quickly transitioned to some spicy contemporary romances for the remainder of the month. At this point, I’ve now read two series by K.A. Tucker, one spicy and one with more plot, and I’m convinced she can do no wrong! I highly recommend you check her out.

I’ve been slacking at writing posts and reviews this month. Partially because I don’t typically write reviews about spicy books that have minimal plot to them, and I’ve just been unmotivated. I think I’m feeling a reading slump coming on, which is super not ideal seeing that my April TBR is extensive and vital (The Crown of Gilded Bones is coming out soon, people!) So, any tips to get out of a slump before it happens would be much appreciated!

  1. I reread all the ACOTAR books in February and I loved them even more the second time around! Looks like you had a great month. Good luck for April!
