I almost feel unworthy of reviewing any book from the beloved ACOTAR series. Especially this jaw-dropping, heart-wrenching, and just overall brilliant book. I've been jumping on a lot of bandwagons lately, and this is no exception. I honestly never heard of this series before the Netflix show was announced, and I was excited to watch it - I mean did you see Ben Barnes? YUM - but I never intended to read the books. Then I was invited to a fantastic Whatsapp group chat with some fellow book-loving 20-somethings from around the world, and we decided to all read it together. And so, here we are...
I want to start this review by saying that The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is a breathtakingly well-written story unlike anything else Iโve read before. Iโve been struggling to write this review for the past two weeks since I finished the book and to even decide on my final rating, but here it goes!
